If you were looking for the article about the poet who runs this channel, then see Michael Rosen.

Kids' Poems and Stories With Michael Rosen, known previously as artificedesign and then Michael Rosen prior to 2016, is Michael's official YouTube channel. The first video was We're Going On A Bear Hunt, uploaded on May 26, 2007. This was a pre-cursor to the videos that Michael did a year later. This video was the only one that he uploaded in the year between 2007 and 2008, these next 49 videos he uploaded were the basic Michael Rosen videos that are used in many of the YouTube Poops. After this, he did another video which was very different but was a telling of the poem, "Boogy Woogy Buggy." released in the same year. He then did 8 poems in front of a live audience. These were the last poems he did in the 'Noughties' era before he returned to post 33 more videos in front of a black background. The last poem he posted of that collection was a telling of his poem "Washing Up." released on August 13th, 2011. But, more than 4 years after that, the channel returned to activity with a promo for "Uncle Gobb and the Dread Shed." A month after that, 14 performances were uploaded to the channel of new poems. After that, many more poems were added, including The Noise, Eddie and the Car, and Mart and the Hat.

The last video to use a custom thumbnail on this channel was the video "The Garden of Eden | TRUE or FALSE | KIDS' POEMS AND STORIES WITH MICHAEL ROSEN", uploaded on October 4, 2021. As of October 21, 2021, the channel began to upload videos without custom thumbnails for unknown reasons (likely due to Rosen ran out of ideas in making thumbnails), just like the current thumbnails of the 2007-2008 (and formerly 2009-2011) videos.
